Helen Keller Day
Helen Keller once said “Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition, inspired, and success achieved.” When thinking about the people who have the most positive impacts on the world. I think of Helen Keller. Helen Keller never gave up on herself , she kept working hard and trying her best. She was an blind and deaf young lady but, she didn’t let that stop her, she went on to do more with her life. I believe that Helen Keller should have her own holiday because she is an intelligent, caring, and wise women .
First, Helen Keller should have her own holiday because she is an intelligent women. At nineteen months Helen Keller became blind and deaf , but she didn’t give up on herself. Helen Keller went on with her education, she went to Radcliffe College from (1900-1904) with honors. She then went to Perkins School For The Blind and also to Wright-Humason School Of The Deaf. I think Helen Keller should have an holiday because she is an intelligent women.
Helen Keller is also an very caring person .Keller helped raise money to build schools to educate deaf, blind, and mute students. She has her own hospital for people like her. She cared about people and their well-being. Helen Keller should have her own holiday because she is an very caring person.
Lastly, Helen Adams Keller is an wise women. She visited veterans that were wounded after World War II in United States hospitals and lectured in Europe on behalf of physically handicapped people. She then begin her political radical change during the 20th century around that time she helped money political activist help women rights. This is why Helen Keller should have her own holiday.
Overall, Helen Keller should have her own holiday because she is an intelligent, caring, and wise women . Many people have holidays for unnecessary things. We should look at those people who actually did something to make our world a better place.
